BC New Car Dealers Announce 2015 Community Driver Recipients at Auto Show Gala

(Vancouver Convention Centre, BC) March 25, 2015: The New Car Dealers Association of BC annually recognizes BC’s automotive dealerships from six geographic regions that exemplify business strength and community excellence. This year’s Community Driver Awards were presented at the Vancouver International Auto Show Gala, held at Vancouver Convention Centre East, Tuesday, March 24, 5:30pm – 10:00pm.
“Whether it’s supporting Special Olympics BC, providing a breakfast program for students, sponsoring Minor League Hockey, or providing grants and scholarships for people pursuing car careers, BC’s New Car Dealers have a positive impact in their communities,” said Blair Qualey, President and CEO of NCDA. “Dealerships were awarded for significantly focusing on making a tangible contribution to the growth and livability of their communities – congratulations to the recipients of the 2015 Community Driver Award.”
The Award winners were acknowledged at the Auto Show Gala. The evening program included the only sit-down formal gala held at any Canadian auto show, along with an auction in support of Special Olympics BC (SOBC) and the New Car Dealers of BC Foundation.
