Signing ceremony between NCDA and CADA

Vancouver, BC –The New Car Dealers Association (NCDA) of BC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) during Premier Christy Clark’s trade mission to China. NCDA President and CEO, Blair Qualey, is part of the trade mission that will support a stronger relationship with one of the world’s largest economies.

“This agreement is an important step towards strengthening our relationship and working with China to create stronger environmental and economic initiatives in both of our respective jurisdictions,” says Blair Qualey, President and CEO of NCDA. “It supports the government’s commitment to environmental and economic prosperity and will enable us to identify common objectives and strengthen mutual capabilities with our counterparts in China.”

The China Automobile Dealers Association is a member-based organization representing franchised new car and truck dealers in China, and is one of the largest new car dealers associations in the world. While the government of British Columbia has become an investment leader in clean technology and transportation, this partnership promotes green initiatives worldwide and highlights BC’s strengths in priority international markets.

“It is a step forward for the future development and co-operation with NCDABC, as CADA and NCDABC signed this Memorandum today,” says Mr. Shen Jinjun, Chairman of CADA. “And on behalf of CADA and Chinese auto dealers, I wish the trade mission led by BC government of Canada to have a very successful trip in China.”

The NCDA of BC also announced today that Qualey will be speaking at the CADA Convention in Xiamen, China, which runs from November 5 – 7, 2015.

“Going to China to attend the Trade Mission and speak at the CADA Convention is a great opportunity for the NCDA to solidify our alliance with China’s automobile dealers and to share our expertise on legal, environmental and consumer issues as they relate to vehicle sales,” says Qualey.
