Western Canada’s biggest celebration of the automobile – the 99th annual Vancouver International Auto Show – is only weeks away and will feature more than 400 vehicles from some of the world’s greatest auto manufacturers.
Revving up March 19 through 24 at Vancouver Convention Centre West, the Auto Show is renowned for putting on display for auto lovers, a full suite of luxury, exotics, one-of-a-kind specialty cars, along with information that consumers need to research their next vehicle.
Auto shows are hassle-free, no-pressure environments for consumers, giving them opportunities to ask questions and learn more about the models of their choice from the manufacturer product specialists, including the latest technology advancements, safety features and engine and battery breakthroughs.
Along with the highly anticipated luxury, prototype and new vehicle debuts, the Vancouver International Auto Show is always a location where manufacturers look to showcase their latest advanced technology vehicles. This year, a featured automobile will be the FELINO cB7R. Designed by Canadian racing driver, Antoine Bessette, the FELINO cB7Rstands out with its raw performance and targets an experienced clientele of sport-driving enthusiasts, with a maximum speed of 300 km/h, an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a limited production of ten models.
For the pick-up lover, the all new 2020 Jeep Gladiator will be on display. Part Wrangler, part pick-up, the all new Gladiator builds on a rich heritage of Jeeps that combines rugged utility, with authentic Jeep design and open-air freedom. And of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg.
The 2019 Auto Show will again feature a significant number of the newest model, electric and plug-in hybrid clean energy vehicles. It will also provide an opportunity for visitors to test-drive and learn more about this important, and growing consumer option through an expanded Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre with its test drive experience, presented by CEVforBC™ and charged by FLO.
It has been suggested that Vancouver is the luxury vehicle hotbed of this country and this year’s program will feature a broad array of custom and exotic supercars from some of the world’s most renowned luxury automakers.
A key feature of the Show will be DISTINCTION: Celebrating Excellence, a ticketed-event occurring Monday, March 18 during which Community Driver Awards, Salespeople of the Year Awards, and the CEVforBC Green Star Dealer Awards – will be presented to leaders among BC’s New Car Dealers. This is a charity event, with funds going to the New Car Dealers Foundation of BC which provides educations grants and supports the great work of Special Olympics BC.
On the official opening night – March 19, the industry event UNVEILED will occur and feature an evening of networking and entertainment to kick off the official opening of the Auto Show!
