In partnership with HUB International and support from Clyde & Co (Cyber Risk), the NCDA has developed a set of guidelines to assist our BC dealer members in cybersecurity. The importance of having a plan in place to protect your people, property, and profitability is vital and cannot be underestimated. The information in this guide provides practical guidance for organizations looking to begin, advance, or benchmark their risk management frameworks in specific domains against industry best practices.
The NCDA has developed separate manuals for companies with fewer than 20 employees and for more than 20 employees. Complimentary copies are available to all NCDA members. Request yours today and specify which version your company needs.
The NCDA conducts studies of the economic impacts of NCDA members from time to time. The studies are an effort to tell the positive story of the impact dealerships have across the province in terms of job creation, tax paid to levels of government, and community investments in local initiatives, sports teams, and charities. The NCDA has more than 400 member businesses, representing approximately 99 per cent of new car dealers in BC. New car dealers are a driving force of the retail automotive industry—in addition to new and used vehicle sales, they typically provide maintenance and repair services, collision repair services, and sell parts and accessories. For copies of the latest studies, please contact the NCDA.
