The New Car Dealers Association of BC (NCDA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Eleasha Naso as the new Executive Director of the Vancouver International Auto Show.

One of Canada’s most respected automotive event leaders, Naso brings more than two decades of experience representing franchised new vehicle dealers and leading major consumer automotive events. She will continue to serve as Executive Director of the Edmonton Motor Dealers Association and Show Manager of the Edmonton Motor Show while assuming responsibility for leading the Vancouver International Auto Show, bringing her expertise to two of Western Canada’s premier automotive events.

The appointment comes at an exciting time for the Vancouver International Auto Show, which continues to attract record attendance, world-class vehicle debuts, and significant national attention.

“On behalf of the New Car Dealers Association of BC, I am delighted to welcome Eleasha to our Auto Show team,” said Blair Qualey, President and CEO of the NCDA. “She is one of the most experienced and respected automotive event professionals in Canada. Her extensive industry knowledge, collaborative leadership style, and proven ability to deliver exceptional automotive experiences make her an outstanding choice to lead the continued evolution of the Vancouver International Auto Show.”

Qualey said Naso’s experience working alongside dealers, manufacturers, sponsors, government partners and industry stakeholders aligns perfectly with the collaborative approach that has helped make the Vancouver International Auto Show one of North America’s fastest-growing automotive events.

“The Vancouver International Auto Show has incredible momentum, and I’m honoured to be part of its next chapter,” said Naso. “Automobiles have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent my entire career working in an industry I love. Auto shows bring together everything that makes this industry so exciting – innovation, technology, great brands, and the people who are passionate about them. The Vancouver International Auto Show has earned an exceptional reputation across Canada, and I’m excited to build on that success, introduce new ideas, and continue creating an unforgettable experience for exhibitors, industry partners, and visitors alike.”

As Executive Director, Naso will oversee the strategic planning, development and execution of the Vancouver International Auto Show while working closely with manufacturers, dealers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners and the NCDA Board to continue enhancing the event’s reputation as Western Canada’s premier automotive showcase.

“We are thrilled to welcome Eleasha to the Vancouver International Auto Show,” said Peter Heppner, NCDA Auto Show Chair. “Her appointment gives us an even greater opportunity to work closely with our Edmonton neighbours, share ideas, and bring fresh thinking to how both shows continue to evolve. Eleasha’s experience, relationships and perspective will help us build on the success of the Vancouver show while exploring new and different ways to engage manufacturers, dealers, partners and the public.”

The Vancouver International Auto Show attracts more than 130,000 visitors annually and showcases hundreds of the newest vehicles, emerging automotive technologies, specialty exhibits and interactive consumer experiences from the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.
