Langley, BC – Blair Qualey, President and CEO of the New Car Dealers Association of BC, issued the following statement today in response John Horgan announcing that he will be stepping down as BC Premier:

“On behalf of new car dealers from across the province, we wish to acknowledge and thank Premier John Horgan for the service and dedication he has always exhibited – as Premier and throughout his political life.

Mr. Horgan has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to British Columbia. He has always kept the people of this province first and foremost in his actions. And he has demonstrated the kind of thoughtful leadership that all citizens can be proud of.

There is more to life than politics, and we wish Mr. Horgan and his family nothing but the best as they make the transition from political life.

Premier, we wish you many walks on the beach with Ellie.”
